Café Menu in 2014


The café at Cecil Sharp House is run by Pink Food ( They have designed a menu for the London Permaculture Festival that is shown below. It includes options for meat and fish-eaters, vegetarians, vegans, as well as some gluten-free and dairy-free food.


Cherry tomato, goat’s cheese and basil tartlettes (V)

Chorizo, free-range egg, spinach and Parmesan tartlettes

Empanadas selection

Hummus, baby vegetable and tortilla pot (VE)

Quinoa, lentil, fresh pea, mint and Feta salad (V)


Seven seed bagels with smoked salmon, cream cheese and chives

Gluten-free ciabatta with roasted vegetables and hummus (VE)

Free-range egg mayo on crusty baguette (V)

Classic tuna mayonnaise on crusty baguette


Roasted tomato and red pepper soup with rocket pesto (V)

Yellow lentil dahl with steamed basmati rice and mini poppadums (VE)

Free-range chicken and summer vegetable pie


Selection of homemade cakes from a choice  of:

Rich chocolate brownie, Lemon drizzle, Choc chip cookies, Millionaires Shortbread,

Gluten free almond cake, carrot cake

 Please note all our food is made in-house and our meat is British free-range.
